The Call to Overseas Missions
The Lord has called Zalika Wallace Ministries to begin our missions work in Uganda, the first nation on our journey to bring lasting change through the love of Christ. Our heart is to support rural communities in need, sharing God’s love in both word and action.
Through the truth of the Gospel and practical humanitarian aid, we believe lives can be transformed and never remain the same. Our very first mission trip to Uganda began in May 2025, marking the start of this exciting chapter in ministry.

Overseas Missions: Uganda May/June 25
In Kamuli, Uganda, God opened the door for me to spend a month serving at Kalikwani Children’s Home.
What began as a volunteer trip became a life-changing experience of sharing Christ’s love in practical ways - from providing new bunk beds, clothes, and school bicycles to creating unforgettable “firsts” like day trips, games, and simple treats. Each child was uniquely blessed through prayer, encouragement, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
These precious young people are now part of the Zalika Wallace Ministries family, and their lives continue to inspire the mission to reach “the one.”

During my time in Jinja, Uganda, I served alongside Pastor Alfred and his family at Opengate Church of All Nations. A new church in a remote village and the only one in the area. It was incredible to see the light of Christ touching lives through home visits and services, as this faithful family boldly serves where others might hesitate.
Together for Uganda - Humanitarian Support
Zalika Wallace Ministries seeks to bring lasting change to communities in Uganda by empowering families, supporting vulnerable children, and equipping the next generation with essential tools and skills. Through financial empowerment, access to communication and technology, we aim to foster self-sufficiency and long-term development in these rural communities.
Key Humanitarian Objectives for Uganda
-
Empower families towards self-sufficiency: Equip individuals with opportunities to become financially stable, enabling them to support their households and, in time, pay it forward to other families, fostering long-term community development
-
Improve mobile communication access: Provide families with mobile phones, giving them a vital means of staying connected beyond their local community
-
Support child-led households: Offer practical help and care for homes where children have become the primary providers due to difficult circumstances
-
Increase digital literacy: Give children access to technology and training, helping them build essential computer skills for their future
